Taylor Richards

  • Taylor Richards is a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee at the Alliant Couple and Family Clinic (ACFC), bringing an authentic, collaborative, and deeply empathetic approach to his work. Operating from a holistic and systemic perspective, he integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Contextual Therapy, and Interpersonal Neurobiology to help clients navigate relational struggles, build secure emotional bonds, and process the impact of past experiences. Taylor is particularly passionate about helping couples and families identify and address the relational patterns that contribute to their challenges, working to rebuild safety, trust, and connection.

Drawing from his own lived experience as a neurodivergent individual, Taylor offers a highly supportive and non-judgmental space for clients navigating complex identities and relationships. He holds a strong clinical interest in Couples Sex Therapy, specifically focusing on how partners can navigate the delicate intersections of neurodivergence, trauma, and fetishes to balance personal needs and foster profound intimate connections. Additionally, his background growing up in a complex family business, combined with over a decade of corporate leadership experience as a Director of Operations and Human Resources, equips him with a deep, practical understanding of conflict resolution, systemic stress, and interpersonal dynamics.

Taylor approaches therapy as a welcoming, humanizing space, always bringing a curious, not judgmental energy to his sessions. Outside of the therapy room, he is a self-proclaimed Disney adult and an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, snowboarding, watching Formula 1, building Legos, and playing video games.
