Hi, I’m Medya Ebrahim, and I’m currently a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee pursuing my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant University. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, which deepened my interest in understanding how our relationships, experiences, and environments shape who we are.
I believe therapy is about creating a space where people feel seen, understood, and supported, especially during times that feel overwhelming, uncertain, or stuck. My approach is currently grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, which means I value both exploring emotional experiences and helping clients identify strengths and practical steps toward change.
I’m passionate about building authentic connections with clients and creating an environment that feels welcoming and collaborative. I see therapy as a process of working together to better understand patterns, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life and connections that feel meaningful to you.
My goal is to provide a space where you can show up as yourself and feel supported throughout your journey.
