Julianne Matthews

  • MFT Graduate Student

Hi! My name is Julianne, but please feel free to call me Juls. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student at Alliant International University and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Concordia University Irvine. Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and families in a variety of settings—from serving as a Behavioral Technician in Applied Behavioral Analysis to teaching swimming lessons, with a focus on children with special abilities. These experiences, combined with my education, have deepened my understanding of family dynamics and strengthened my passion for supporting meaningful change.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where your voice matters most. In our sessions, I will always approach you with curiosity, not judgment. You are the expert of your own life and I am here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and tools to help you feel empowered and confident in the changes you want to make. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together to strengthen your relationships and enhance your well-being.

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you on your journey.
