Jackie Shandy, MA, BCBA, is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, Sacramento, and a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst with extensive experience in behavior analysis since 1995. After earning her bachelor's degree from Washington State University, where she contributed as an assistant researcher for the Northwest Young Autism Project, Jackie completed her Master's in Behavior Analysis at California State University, Sacramento. Concurrently, she founded a private practice providing ABA therapy and social skills training to children diagnosed with autism, now successfully operating for 23 years. Jackie has also taught ABA coursework as an associate instructor at CSUS, published research in behavior analytic journals, served in leadership roles on state and regional ABA boards, and presented at both local and national conferences. Currently, she serves as a clinical assistant at Alliant Student Psychological Services and has spent the past year working in an inpatient setting at the VA. Her clinical interests include autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, OCD, phobias, mood disorders, behavior analysis, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
