Carley Duran
-
Carley is passionate about working with the full spectrum of human experiences, from children to adults and individuals to couples and families. Trained systemically, she thoughtfully considers the various factors influencing our lives both individually and collectively. As an Army veteran, Carley brings an appreciation for collaborative work and the ability to be present and supportive, especially during life's most challenging moments.
In addition to her education for Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University, Carley is currently pursuing specialized training in somatic and body-based modalities, including Somatic Experiencing (SE), Yoga Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Carley deeply values the wisdom held within our bodies and emphasizes the importance of allowing our physical experiences to share in our personal narratives and healing journeys.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Carley values spending time with her family, including her husband, their two young boys, and their two dogs, who are polar opposites – a Cane Corso and a Shiba Inu. She also has a profound appreciation for the restorative power of nature, whether it's the gentle breezes of the ocean or the serene quietness of desert nights.
